B Corp is the only certification that holistically evaluates a company's full social and environmental performance. It is a growing international community of more than 9,000 certified B Corps.
To become a B Corp, a company undergoes a rigorous assessment of its business model and operations to demonstrate alignment with high standards of social and environmental impact.
For us, joining the B Corp community aligns seamlessly with our core values, while also pushing us to continuously grow and build our company in a responsible way.
To qualify for a B Corp certification you must score at least 80, with the median score of ordinary businesses being 50.9. Our total score is 117.5 out of maximum 200, putting us in the top 8% of B Corps worldwide.
The assessment is divided into 5 Impact Areas; Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. For each, we received a score which is then added up to the total B Impact Score.
All certified B Corps have been verified by B Lab, a non-profit organization that operates across the world in a variety of countries.
B Lab was founded in 2006 on the conviction that a different kind of economy was not only possible, but necessary—and that business could lead the way toward a new, stakeholder-driven model. Best known for certifying B Corporations (companies meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency), B Lab does much more than certification alone. It seeks to fundamentally transform the economic system by rewriting its rules: creating standards, policies, tools, and programs that shift the behavior, culture, and structural foundations of capitalism. In doing so, B Lab mobilizes the global B Corp community to collectively address society’s most pressing challenges.
By harnessing the power of business, B Lab guides companies around the world to balance profit with purpose.

“We are proud to welcome Son of a Tailor to the B Corp Movement. Son of a Tailor is an archetype of a B Corp company with its approach to innovating the supply chain of the textile industry. Son of a Tailor's clothing is made from responsible materials, made to order, and made for the person wearing it - and without compromising labor rights.”
