B Corp is the only certification that holistically evaluates a company's full social and environmental performance. It is a growing international community of more than 5,600 certified B Corps.
To become a B Corp, Son of a Tailor underwent an assessment of our business model and operations to confirm that we meet high standards of social and environmental impact.
The assessment is divided into 5 Impact Areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. For each, we received a score which is then added up to the total B Impact Score.
To qualify for a B Corp certification you must score at least 80, with the median score of ordinary businesses being 50.9.
Our total score is 117.5 out of maximum 200, putting us in the top 8% of B Corps worldwide.
All certified B Corps have been verified by B Lab, a non-profit organization that operates across the world in a variety of countries. B Lab’s vision is to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
